I first worked as a photographer for my high school yearbook, Then, while an overseas intern in the Middle East in 1961, I tried to capture the drama of refugees in the Gaza Strip. In Brazil in 1967-68, doing research for my PhD, I travelled extensively and sold enough photos to purchase a ticket to the US for my future wife. In recent years I have devoted more time to photography and sold images on stock photography sites
